Duggar Couples Go On Quadruple Date; '19 Kids And Counting' New Season Premiere Date Revealed

Ahead of the return of “19 Kids and Counting,” the four married couples from the Duggar clan went on a quadruple date Sunday. While it’s usually newlyweds Jessa Duggar and Jill Duggar who go out with their husbands Ben Seewald and Derick Dillard, respectively, this time, other married couples from the Duggar family tagged along.

According to a report from the Duggar Family Blog, Michelle and Jim Bob and their oldest son, Josh Duggar, along with his wife Anna, both 26, attended the Northwest Arkansas outing. “Quadruple-date with these people!” Josh posted to his Instagram and Twitter pages Sunday alongside an image of his family in a car.

In the photo, Jim Bob, 49, can be seen in the driver’s seat while Jessa, 22, is snuggled up with Ben, 19, and Michelle, 48, in the background. In the last row, Josh’s expectant wife Anna, who is due to welcome their fourth child in June 2015, can be seen getting close with Jill, 23, and her husband Derick, 25. Perhaps Anna, who already has three kids with Josh (Mackynzie, 5; Michael, 3; Marcus, 1) was giving Jill some parenting tips before she delivers her first child, a boy, in March.

The latest Duggar outing comes on the heels of Jessa and Jill's double date with Ben and Derick earlier this month. The foursome enjoyed a meal together at Jill’s home following rumors of their alleged feud and shared a photo of their date with fans: “@jessaseewald and @ben_seewald are here for dinner!” Jill posted to Instagram Dec. 8. “So fun hanging out with our siblings! #familydinnner #19kids."

While it’s unclear where the Duggars were headed on their quadruple outing, one could speculate the reality TV brood was celebrating the upcoming premiere of the new season of their TLC series. According to a separate post from the Duggar Family Blog, a new season of “19 Kids and Counting” will premiere on TLC Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2015.

“The new season will give viewers a glimpse into Jill and Derick Dillard’s lives as newlyweds,” reports the blog. Not only will viewers reportedly get to see some of the expectant couple’s “home videos” this season but they will also get an inside look at Jessa and Ben’s Nov. 1 nuptials. People Magazine previously reported that Jessa’s wedding would be featured on Season 9. During the Season 8 finale in November, TLC released a sneak peek of the highly anticipated episode.
