‘Emerald City’ TV Series Spoilers: Episode 3 Synopsis Released Online; What Will Happen In ‘Mistress – New – Mistress’? [VIDEO]

New NBC series “Emerald City” premiered last week. Season 1, episode 1 introduced new characters and saw Dorothy Gale (Adria Arjona) getting caught in a storm. She entered a mysterious world and accidentally killed the Witch of the East (Florence Kasumba). Then, in episode 2, the Witch of the West (Ana Ularu) and North (Joely Richardson) honored their sister and conducted her funeral.

What will happen in episode 3?

According to the official synopsis, Dorothy and Lucas/Scarecrow (Oliver Jackson-Cohen) have a close encounter with death and quickly learn that The Wizard of Oz (Vincent D’Onofrio) wants to kill her. He has sent guards to murder her. Since Dorothy is a sign that The Beast Forever will come back, The Wizard is determined to kill her.

Back in Emerald City, The Wizard will seek some advice from his counsel when he starts to lose control over the city and the witches begin to show their power. The Wizard had banned his countrymen and women from practicing magic.

Tip’s (Jordan Loughran) story will continue in the upcoming episode. With the help of Dorothy, Jack (Gerran Howell) rescued his best friend from his domineering mother. She was imprisoning him in the house. Later, Jack learned that Tip is actually a young girl.

In episode 3, titled “Mistress – New – Mistress,” Jack and Tip will venture to the City of Ev to find a cure for her disease.

NBC shared a new promo of “Emerald City” that shows Dorothy being extensively interrogated by the opium addict Witch of the West. She is desperate to know how the nurse could kill her sister since only a witch can kill another witch.

Furthermore, despite being shaken after seeing Lucas smashing the head of Tip’s mother, Dorothy will fall in love with him.

“Emerald City” Season 1, episode 3 premieres Friday, Jan. 13 at 9 p.m. EST on NBC.
