Emma Roberts Returns To ‘American Horror Story’ Set After Reported Engagement To ‘Coven’ Co-Star Evan Peters [PHOTOS]
The finale of “American Horror Story: Coven” is quickly approaching, but it appears the cast isn’t done filming yet. Episode 13, “The Seven Wonders,” will air on Jan. 29, and season 3 star Emma Roberts just posted a photo from the chilly set.
“Freezing day on set #AHS #Coven,” Roberts tweeted along with a photo. The image shows the 22-year-old bundled up in a Minkpink brown jacket with a fur trimming around the hood and sleeves. Roberts can be seen clutching a hot beverage in her red nail-polished hands.
Fans were instantly drawn to the photo not because Emma Roberts was on the “American Horror Story” set … but because they wanted to see the engagement ring that she reportedly received from her “Coven” co-star Evan Peters. Extra reported on Jan. 6 that the young couple got engaged over the holidays with 26-year-old Peters allegedly popping the question with a pink gold diamond ring. While the pair have yet to confirm their engagement, Roberts' close photographer friend Tyler Shields sent the couple congratulatory wishes.
“Congrats to @RobertsEmma and Evan Peters for getting engaged. This was the moment I knew he really loved her!” Shields posted with a photo he previously took of the co-stars. The shot features Roberts falling through the air with Peters standing below waiting to catch her.
The actors began dating in the spring of 2012, and made headlines in July of 2013 when Roberts was arrested for domestic violence following an argument at a Montreal hotel. Released after questioning, reps for the duo stated that it was “an unfortunate incident and misunderstanding.”
Roberts currently plays a witch named Madison on “American Horror Story,” while Peters plays a former frat boy named Kyle. The characters have shared some heat on-screen, and recently entered into a love triangle with Taissa Farmiga’s character, Zoe.
A new episode of “American Horror Story: Coven” will premiere on Wednesday 8 at 10 p.m. EST on FX.
