Emma Roberts Reveals The One Trait She Doesn't Want Her Son To Inherit

Emma Roberts admitted being nervous that her two-year-old son, Rhodes might inherit one of her traits.

The 31-year-old actress was asked during The Kelly Clarkson Show on Tuesday if she had sleep issues. Roberts reportedly disclosed that she had a "little bit of sleepwalking," before adding, "I hope it's not hereditary because my mom also sleepwalked."

Roberts talked about one incident where she was sleepwalking and her mother was also sleepwalking at the same time and they both ran into each other. "We were both so freaked out," she added.

"I hope my son's not a sleepwalker," she continued. "He's 2 and we're lucky he hasn't figured out he can climb out of the crib. He totally is capable but he hasn't, which I thought was very sweet of him."

Roberts shared that the little bundle of joy is "happy to stay in the crib" while she is preparing for the day he will "climb out" of it on his own, adding that she hopes "he doesn't sleepwalk on top of that."

The actress shares the little one with her ex-boyfriend, actor Garrett Hedlund. The former couple was first spotted together in 2019 after she broke up with fiancé Evan Peters.

Hedlund and Roberts welcomed their baby in December 2020 and broke up in January 2022.

Roberts has previously opened up about dating in Hollywood. "I never want to talk about relationships I'm in or that are ending or have ended," she told Cosmopolitan in May 2019.

"It's hard enough to be with someone by yourself, let alone with an audience. Growing up is hard. Sometimes it makes me sad that I can't have a private moment," Roberts added.

She pointed out that social media platforms like Twitter and Instagram play a huge role in making relationships hard.

The actress explained, "Because of Twitter and Instagram, there's a whole other element where everybody can comment on what you're doing and no one knows the real story. That's hard."

Roberts confirmed last year that she is dating actor Cody John.

Regarding her upcoming projects, the actress will be next seen in a sci-fi action movie, "Madame Web," and will also feature in movies like "Verona Spies," "Returns," "Space Cadet" and "Second Wife."
