Emma Stone is officially a mom after she gave birth to her first child with husband Dave McCary.
The "La La Land" star and McCary have welcomed their first child together, Entertainment Tonight first reported. The arrival of their baby came less than a year after they tied the knot in September 2020.
There are no details about Stone and McCary's baby. She had kept a low profile during her pregnancy but was photographed multiple times in the months leading up to her due date.
In February, she was spotted running errands in Los Angeles. According to an insider, she has been keeping herself busy throughout her pregnancy.
"She’s been working a lot and staying really active," the source told ET.
Stone's pregnancy was confirmed by ET in January. At about the same time, she was spotted with a baby bump.
"It's been so nice for them to be home and have this time together before the baby. They're going to be the best parents; they are both great with kids and they make such a great team," a source said at the time.
Several sources also said earlier this year that she was "excited" and "ecstatic" while waiting for her bundle of joy. The "Crazy Stupid Love" star was also healthy and has been maintaining an active lifestyle.
"She looks great, she looks healthy, she’s glowing," the source said. "She’s been keeping up with friends and work lately, she’s always staying active and gets her daily exercise in."
Stone and McCary secretly married in September after postponing their March wedding. Many speculated about their union when they were spotted with matching gold rings. Their fans believed that the couple opted for a "much safer, private ceremony."
Prior to their wedding, Stone already hinted in an interview with Elle in 2018 that she was already eager to settle down and start a family. She admitted that she had a different perspective about having her own family years ago.
"My perspective about kids has changed as I've gotten older," she said. "I never babysat or anything. As a teenager, I was like, I'm never getting married, I'm never having kids. And then I got older and I was like, I really want to get married, I really want to have kids."
