‘Falling Skies’ Season 3 Spoilers: 8 Things To Know About The Season Premiere
AUSTIN, Texas -- “Falling Skies” fans were treated to a special screening of the highly anticipated season-three premiere at the 2013 ATX Television Festival. It was action-packed and full of some major new jaw-droppers. Viewers all over the U.S. will be able to watch not only episode one, but also episode two when the new season of the TNT show kicks off on Sunday at 9 p.m. EDT. Check out a list of spoilers we’ve compiled after watching episode one.
Warning: Spoilers Ahead
Time Jump -- Season three of “Falling Skies” will start seven months after season two left off. Because of the large jump, audience members definitely have a little catching up to do -- but don’t worry, it’s definitely not stressful.
Mr. President -- Tom Mason has a new title! Say goodbye to “Professor,” because he’s now the “President of the New United States” (which is about 20 square blocks). His new title comes with him making some serious decisions, like deciding to align with the Volm aliens.
Humans May Stand A Chance -- Thanks to Tom’s new alignment, the humans might actually stand a chance against the Espheni. Besides Anne learning how to remove a harness, the Volm have gifted the humans with the technology to fight back.
The Baby -- Anne will have her baby in the season premiere, but not everything is what it seems.
A Death -- Someone will die by the end of the episode.
Hal’s Struggle -- In season two, viewers watched as Karen did something to Hal that involved a sort of bug crawling out of his ear. This season, we learn that Hal’s not OK from it -- in fact, he’s paralyzed from the waist down.
A Mole -- Someone (whether human or alien) is working with the Espheni to hurt the humans in Charleston.
Karen -- We won’t ruin this surprise for you, but Karen is still lurking around. The question is what form she takes in the season-three premiere.
You can catch the beginning of season three of “Falling Skies” when episodes one and two air on Sunday.
