Barry’s bachelor party in tonight’s Season 4, episode 5 of CW’s “The Flash” is going to be a disaster.

In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, series star Grant Gustin revealed that Barry (Gustin) and the boys are supposed to have a steak dinner together for his bachelor party. But their plans for the night suddenly change when Ralph Dibny (Hartley Sawyer) takes them to a strip club.

“Cisco’s (Carlos Valdes) plans get hijacked by Mr. Dibny,” Valdes told the news outlet. “It’s a terrible plan that starts terrible and ends terribly, honestly.”

Gustin said that the change of venue causes Barry to let loose. “Cisco makes Barry a little potion to get him drunk that works much better than the last time in Season 1,” the actor shared. “It lasts for the duration of the entire night and Barry is in rare form. He is drunker than I have ever even come close to being, and we had a lot of fun with that.”

While an intoxicated Barry is a refreshing sight for fans, Joe (Jesse L. Martin) is definitely not thrilled seeing his adoptive son in such state. “It’s probably one of the first times Joe has ever seen Barry drunk,” Martin said. “As a kid, before he turned into Flash, he didn’t drink, he was a straight-up nerd, so Joe’s a little concerned, but more just fascinated with the fact that that’s what he’s like when he’s drunk. Barry’s a very funny drunk, let’s just say that. But the idea of going to a strip club, it’s bad all around. Joe doesn’t like it, he doesn’t like what he sees there, doesn’t like what happens when we get there. It’s a mess and it’s all because of that damn Dibny.”

In addition, as seen in a couple of promo photos for the episode, it seems that Barry, Cisco, Joe and Ralph are going to end up in jail. While it’s unclear whether the male characters are indeed going to be locked up behind bars, one thing is for sure: the girls will end up saving the day.

“We started with the concept of ‘wouldn’t it be really funny if Barry goes for a bachelor party with the guys, and Iris (Candice Patton) goes for a bachelorette party with the girls, and the guys end up having the worst night ever and the girls end up saving the city?’” executive producer Andrew Kreisberg told ComicBook.com of how the idea for the episode came about. “That was where the episode started from, and that’s where it ended up.”

“The Flash” Season 4, episode 5, titled “Girls Night Out,” airs tonight at 8 p.m. EST on The CW.
