‘Flip Or Flop’ Star Christina El Moussa, Gary Anderson Dating Confirmed? Tarek El Moussa Files For Divorce Amid Cheating Rumors

Christina El Moussa confirmed that she is dating home contractor Gary Anderson, just hours after reports surfaced that her estranged husband Tarek has filed for divorce. The "Flip Or Flop" stars announced their split last year after an altercation that involved a gun.

According to People magazine, Tarek's lawyer confirmed Monday that the HGTV host had filed all the necessary paperwork to legally separate from his wife. The news about the divorce comes just days after reports surfaced that Tarek caught Christina sending inappropriate text messages to Anderson while they were still married.

However, the estranged couple denied cheating rumors, stating: “Neither of us was involved in a romantic relationship with any third party prior to our separation, or believes the other was.”

The divorce drama between Christina and Tarek sparked months after the May 2016 incident, when the two allegedly got into an explosive fight leading to the police showing up at their home in response to a possible suicide attempt involving a gun. The two stars later said that the incident was nothing but a "misunderstanding."

In December 2016, Christina and Tarek said in a statement that they were separating: "Like many couples, we have had challenges in our marriage. "We had an unfortunate misunderstanding about six months ago and the police were called to our house in an abundance of caution. There was no violence and no charges were filed.

"During the process, we are committed to our kids and being the best parents we can be," they continued. "We will continue to work through this process civilly and cooperatively, and plan to continue our professional life together."

However, many believe that the reason behind the split between the two was Christina's close relationship with Anderson.

“Christina grew close to Gary,” a source told InTouch Weekly “Tarek was suspicious that she was getting involved with someone but had no concrete evidence.”

Just days before the divorce announcement, Tarek was seen enjoying his time with his two children as he took to his Instagram account to share a video of him dancing with his kids.
