'Flower Of Evil' Cast Bid Farewell With Encouraging Messages, Finale Reaches Highest Ratings

The cast of tvN’s "Flower Of Evil" bid farewell to the drama with encouraging messages to fans as it wrapped up its final episode with the highest ratings on Wednesday.

Actors Lee Joon Gi, Moon Chae Won, Jang Hee Jin and Kim Moo Jin who play lead roles in the thriller series shared their opinion about filming the drama, it's success, and more as it reached its grand finale.

The final episode of the much loved and successful drama achieved an average nationwide rating of 5.7 % and reached an impressive peak of 6.6 %, which was the highest ratings the drama attained during its entire run, according to Nielsen Korea.

Actor Lee Joon Gi, who played the role of Do Hyun Soo, a mysterious man wanted for murder, stated that the drama came to a successful end after 7 long months of shooting.

"The story of 'The Flower of Evil' finally ended after seven months. To be honest, when we first started, I felt a lot of pressure about whether I would be able to portray this role well. Thanks to the director, writer, staff, and fellow actors, I was able to wrap up the drama with success," the actor said.

The "Lawless Lawyer" actors also expressed his gratitude to the viewers for their love and support.

"Above all, I was able to finish the drama with more energy because of the viewers who enjoyed and cheered for 'Flower of Evil.' I sincerely thank you from the bottom of my heart. Although every project is memorable, I think this drama will last a long time in my mind. I would like to thank everyone who loved Do Hyun Soo and 'Flower of Evil,' and I love you all!" he added.

Actress Moon Chae Won, who played the female lead in the drama mentioned that "Flower Of Evil" was one of the most memorable projects she's ever worked on.

"We’ve been working for three seasons from the warm spring to the cool autumn, so I still can’t believe 'Flower of Evil' is about to end. Since I did my best, I think it will be remembered as a project that is more rewarding than ever," she said.

"I would like to sincerely thank the viewers for loving the drama. I was very happy to meet director Kim Cheol Kyu, writer Yoo Jung Hee, the crew, and the cast," she added, according to Soompi.

Actress Jang Hee Jin also expressed her gratitude to her fans and the drama’s crew for the unexpected love and support she received for her role.

"Thanks to the enthusiastic love and interest of the viewers, we were able to wrap up the drama successfully and safely. I hope the viewers will cheer up during this difficult time and that this drama has been able to comfort them. Thank you," added actor Seo Hyun Woo who played the role of Kim Moo Jin.
