In the latest update from the official website, “Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma: The Fifth Plate” will resume airing episodes Friday (July 3).
“Food Wars!” Season 5 episode 3 is now scheduled to air Friday (July 17)
According to the official statement that the makers released Saturday (May 30), Tokyo MX, BS11 and ABEMA will start airing “Food Wars!” Season 5 from July 3. The networks will broadcast from the first episode of the current season.
Before going into coronavirus pandemic break, the makers released two episodes of the ongoing “Food Wars!” Season 5.
In episode 2 of the anime series, the World Gourmet Organization (WGO) announces the prestigious BLUE tournament. This cooking tournament sees the best of chefs from across the world. Three students from Totsuki Academy will represent the school in the BLUE tournament.
The students of the academy gear up for the BLUE preliminaries organized by Totsuki to select three students. The theme of the competition is soup and the contestants can use any ingredient to prepare the dish. 99 judges select three best dishes.
Sohma is excited about representing Totsuki Academy and he manages to get a spot.
