'Food Wars! (Shokugeki no Soma)' Season 4 Spoilers: Soma, Erina In A Tough Situation, Will They Win Against The Elite 10?

‘'Food Wars! (Shokugeki no Soma)’' Season 4 is currently scheduled to air on Crunchyroll starting October 11. The streaming will come with English subtitles, and the upcoming chapter will close out the finale of the long-running Central Arc of the series that started on the third plate of season 3. Spoilers for the fourth plate of ” Food Wars! (Shokugeki no Soma)” claim that Erina, Soma, and the rest of the rebels will be in a tough spot as they battle against the new elite ten to overthrow the new ideology that Erina’s father would like to instill at Totsuki Saryo Culinary Institute.

The third plate of ”Food Wars! (Shokugeki no Soma)” left us with Soma, Erina, Joichiro Yukihira, Gin Dojima, and the Director of Totsuki, Senzaemon Nakiri practicing Soma and Erina’s cooking skills in preparation for the battle against the new elite ten. Throughout the series, we saw how artistic and skilled Soma and Erina are, but the odds are against them in the upcoming season of ”Food Wars! (Shokugeki no Soma).”

In season 3, we saw how the behavior of the audience and unfair judgment closed most of the clubs and groups within Totsuki University. And, if not for Soma’s courage and persistence, the Polaris Dormitory could have been easily demolished. Anime Producer Noriko Dohi recently hinted that an intense battle that will showcase Erina’s cooking prowess will be shown on the fourth plate of ”Food Wars! (Shokugeki no Soma).”

So far, we have no additional information about Erina’s opponent in the upcoming food war, but given the producer’s statement, we can assume that it is going to be the person currently seated in the number 1 spot of the new elite ten. We also learned that Erina has grown more mature, and according to the anime producer, we will see her growth in season 4 of ”Food Wars! (Shokugeki no Soma).”

The changes in Erina’s perspective and attitude could be due to the revelations and experiences that she learned and gone through in season 3 of ”Food Wars! (Shokugeki no Soma).” Her traumatic experience with her ‘biological’ father and her stay at Polaris Dormitory opened her eyes to the reality of the world that she was not able to see in the previous seasons.

It is also interesting to see Soma’s opponent and what kind of dish he will prepare. Will the rebels be victorious in their quest to overthrow the new council at Totsuki University?
