The first episode of "Train" starring Yoon Shi-yoon, Kyung Soo-jin and Shin So-yul, was aired July 11. It took over the weekend 10.30 p.m. slot on OCN which was previously held by "Team Bulldog: Off-Duty Investigation."

Despite receiving positive response from the viewers, the 12-episode series managed to draw a modest viewership rating through its run. However, the finale episode got slightly better ratings than the rest with an average nationwide rating of 1.4%, Soompi reported.

The sci-fi thriller revolves around the world splitting into two alternate universes following a single choice made on the night of a murder.

In an interview last month, Kyung Soo-jin said, "I started thinking more about choices through this project. It would be nice if viewers watch the drama while thinking about the meaning behind the action of ‘choice’ in their lives."

Meanwhile, the second season of "Forest of Secrets 2," which airs on tvN, is off to a great start. The first episode of the thriller drama managed to beat the entire first season with an average nationwide rating of 7.6% and a peak of 8.9%. With this, the drama achieved the second-highest ratings of any weekend show premiere in the history of the channel. The second episode, however, did see a slight fall in the viewership with an average nationwide rating of 6.4% and a peak of 6.9%, Soompi reported.

The first season of the show, starring Cho Seung-woo and Bae Doona, revolved around an emotionless prosecutor and a police officer teaming up to catch a serial killer.

Speaking about returning with season 2, Cho Seung Woo said, "I felt very pressured. Of course, season two is similar to season one, but it will look like a completely different drama. It’s just different in nature. That’s why I found the courage to do the new season without hesitating."
