Former 'Bachelor' Chris Soules Dishes On Witney Carson's Wedding

"Dancing With The Stars" Season 19 celebrity contestant Chris Soules said that her former pro partner Witney Carson sent him a message to let him know that she was engaged. The former "Bachelors" star added that he was one of the select few people the dance pro contacted via phone to alert them of her engagement.

"I don’t follow social media very closely, so she texted me to let me know she was engaged. I actually told one of my friends a couple weeks before that she was for sure going to be engaged this summer," said Prince Farming, as he is popularly called. Soules added that he knew Carson was ready to settle down.

The Bachelor Season 19 star has dished on the wedding details. Soules said that it would be a winter wedding and that Carson and her fiancé were looking at "sometime in January." He added that he was holding a day open so he can be part of her special day. Neither Carson nor her fiancé Carson McAllister have revealed the official wedding date.

DWTS Season 19 champion Alfonso Ribeiro's son will play the ringbearer on the occasion. The 44-year-old had the partnered with Carson and they won the Mirrorball Trophy. Soules told in a lighter vein that he had asked Carson if she would let him be the ringbearer, but it would not have worked out.

Soules said that he would not have much involvement, but he would certainly be there by their side to celebrate their great day with them. He also joked that since Ribeiro would be there at the wedding, it would not be possible to have a dance with Carson "for old time’s sake." Soules admitted that Ribeiro was so good at dancing that it would make him look bad.

Talking about Carson fiancé, Soules said that McAllister "an awesome guy." The former and the latter have even met earlier. The "Bachelor" star added that he was very excited for his former DWTS partner and also to attend her wedding.

Meanwhile, Soules was spotted with Rumer Willis attending an exhibition game at Madison Square Garden Wednesday night. Both of them had participated in Season 20 of DWTS earlier this year, with the actress winning the Mirrorball trophy. They reportedly sparked romance rumors as they shared smiles together during the match.
