Former Porn Star Lana Rhoades' Ex Mike Majlak Talks Breakup: 'She's An Absolutely Incredible Person'

Ex-porn star Lana Rhoades and Mike Majlak have called it quits, with the latter confirming the news Friday. The vlogger is now sharing more details about the breakup and giving fans an update on how he has been doing since.

On the Thursday episode of his “Impaulsive” podcast with Logan Paul and Spencer Taylor, Majlak was asked about his split with Rhoades, which he detailed in an emotional video titled “We Broke Up” on his YouTube channel last week. Paul initially told him that he has yet to watch the clip, which has now raked in over 3 million views.

“There’s been so many good ‘Night Shift’ episodes about fun and pleasing exercises. You can go watch them and learn about foods and travel. But for some reason the world just loves the idea of something crashing down,” Majlak said of the attention their split has gotten.

However, Paul suggested that perhaps fans were just invested in Majlak and the ex-porn star’s relationship, thus they wanted to know what happened to their spark. The “Fifth Vital” author then shared that one headline he spotted, “America’s internet couple has broken up,” made him really sad.

“I’m good. I wish I could say that it was as clean as that video made it sound,” Majlak replied when asked how he has been coping with the split.

Rhoades’ ex-boyfriend also explained that anyone who is in or had just gotten out of a relationship would “think” that they know what’s best and that most of the time they are right. On the contrary, Cardi B dismissed her divorce from Offset, Majlak explained, adding that this was why he doesn’t want to say bad things about the ex-porn star.

“I was very clear [in the video] that this was something that existed within me. She is an absolutely incredible person who has done absolutely incredible things for me, to me,” Majlak said.

In Majlak’s breakup video, he explained that the best thing about Rhoades, whose real name is Amara Maple, is that she is “so fiercely loyal,” adding that he never worried about her cheating on him. The YouTuber also noted that there wasn’t one specific reason for the breakup, but that it was because of the differences in what they wanted in their relationship.

“Amara was… obsessed with the idea of linear and traditional life and love,” he said. “She wanted to meet a guy, she wanted to settle down, she wanted to have a family and just live this kind of linear life.”

“That’s just not who I am,” he continued, before claiming that Rhoades was “trying to facilitate the vision that she saw for the relationship, which was getting a house and moving in with her.”
