‘The Fosters’ Season 5 Spoilers: What Happens To Callie, Jesus And Brandon In Episode 2?
“The Fosters” Season 5, episode 2 will be packed with a lot of drama.
“Exterminate Her” will center on Callie (Maia Mitchell) finally taking control of her life. After years of trying to follow Stef (Teri Polo) and Lena’s (Sherri Saum) rules, Callie gets told that it is now time to make her own decisions. She has gotten herself into countless troubles, and Lena tells her that there’s only so much that they can do for her. With this, Callie decides to take art classes at a local college.
Elsewhere in the episode, Jesus (Noah Centineo) informs his family that he will not go to school to finish his fourth year in high school. Stef and Lena are not pleased with his decision, but they can’t really do anything about it. To make things worse, Jesus will distance himself from Mariana (Cierra Ramirez), so that he could start building a tree house with their dad, Gabe (Brandon Quinn), without his sister.
Jesus will also try his best to avoid Brandon (David Lambert) at all costs. In the premiere episode, he trashed his brother’s bedroom after speculating that he had an affair with his girlfriend, Emma (Amanda Leighton). However, Brandon and Emma did not really hook up, even though there were moments in Season 4 where it seemed like they were interested in each other.
Meanwhile, Freeform dropped a sneak peek for Season 5, episode 2, where Callie is talking to her parents about her recent charges. Callie asks Stef if she would be required to testify against Diamond (Hope Olaide Wilson). Stef tells her that it’s a possibility since the officers found her phone in Diamond’s bag. Lena is not pleased with the fact that Callie will once again be involved in another issue. When Callie tries to explain herself, Stef raises her voice and reminds her that worse things could have happened to her. Their conversation ends with Stef pulling the car break and shouting at Callie.
“The Fosters” Season 5, episode 2 will air on Freeform on July 18 at 8 p.m. EDT.
