KEY POINTS
- Courteney Cox gave her fans a peek at her well-organized pantry
- Last year, Cox recreated the “Friends” Thanksgiving scene
- She will be next seen in 5th installment of "Scream"
It seems like Courteney Cox was not acting when she portrayed the role of super-organized Monica Geller in "Friends."
The 56-year-old actress took to Instagram on Thursday to do the "Tell Me You're..." trend, and posted a video asking fans to "Tell Me You're Monica Without Telling Me You're A Monica."
She then proceeded to show her well-organized utensils, neat pantry and a bunch of uniformed containers with labels placed neatly in her spice drawer. At the end of the video, she said, "I know," with a little shrug.
The official "Friends" Instagram handle added a heart emoji in the comment section of the video.
The video caught the attention of many fans and celebrities, who showed their love in the comments section.
Praising Cox's organizational skills, actress Sarah Hyland wrote, "I had an orgasm when that drawer opened," while actress Kathy Najimy, 64, noted, "I’m the opposite of a Monica... i’m the lady who owns the thrift store in 'The One with the vintage stuff.'" Writer Erin Foster commented, "Classic Monica."
This is not the first time Cox portrayed Monica's character on social media. Last year in November, the actress wished everyone a happy Thanksgiving by recreating the show's iconic from 1998.
"Happy Thanksgiving everyone, I hope you're having a great day," Cox said in the video posted on Instagram. "I'm feeling so thankful, and also, if I get one more goddamn GIF with that turkey on my head dancing like a f----- fool, I'm just gonna snap."
She played a GIF from the original scene and then said, "So anyhow, since I'm the symbol of Thanksgiving, here you go, hope it makes you happy." Then she covered her head with the raw turkey and danced in the kitchen to the "Friends" theme song.
Besides Cox, the series starred Lisa Kudrow, Jennifer Aniston, Matthew Perry, Matt LeBlanc, and David Schwimmer. The series ran from 1994 to 2004.
Cox will be seen in the 5th installment of "Scream," which is slated to release on Jan. 14, 2022.
