Five directors will reportedly get to direct two episodes each for “Game of Thrones” Season 6. Meanwhile, cast member Maisie Williams spoke about what it was like to be a part of the TV series and where she thinks her character Arya Stark is heading in the show.

According to a report by Entertainment Weekly, two new directors will join the TV series and three directors who have been a part of the series will return for Season 6. The next season will go beyond the story that has been told in the five "A Song of Ice and Fire" novels by George RR Martin. The sixth book, “Winds of Winter,” has not yet been released.

Jeremy Podeswa is said to be directing the Season 6 premiere as well as the season's second episode. He is known for having worked on popular TV shows like “Tudors” and “Boardwalk Empire” and also directed episodes 5 and 6 in “Game of Thrones” Season 5.

Episodes 3 and 4 of Season 6 will be directed by Daniel Sackheim, who will work on the show for the first time. He previously directed TV shows like “The X-Files” and “Miami Vice.” Another new director to the show is Jack Bender, who will helm episodes 5 and 6. He is known for his work on “Lost,” “Under the Dome” and "The Sopranos."

Mark Mylod will return to direct episodes 7 and 8. He had directed episodes titled “High Sparrow” and “Sons of the Harpy” in Season 5. The last two episodes of “Game of Thrones” Season 6 will be directed by Miguel Sapochnik, who directed the episodes “The Gift” and “Hardhome” in Season 5.

The last two episodes of Season 6 reportedly will feature an “epic battle climax,” due to Sapochnik’s involvement.

Meanwhile, cast member Williams spoke to Flicks And The City about what it is like to be a part of the massively successful HBO TV series. The actress said her role feels like a “big part” while filming her scenes, but when she watches the show onscreen she realizes there’s a “whole other world going on all around.” So, she gets to watch the TV series as a fan as well.

She said her character Arya is not after the Iron Throne and is only seeking vengeance, after everything that she has had to endure. She hopes to see her character exact her revenge and live peacefully. “Game of Thrones” Season 6 is expected to premiere in April 2016.
