'Game Of Thrones' Stars Kit Harington, Rose Leslie Engaged, Source Says

"Game of Thrones" star Kit Harington just popped the big question to his now-fiancé, Rose Leslie.

Harington and Leslie, who are very private when it comes to their personal life, are now engaged, a source confirmed to People. Unfortunately, no other details about the proposal has been revealed.

According to Daily Mail, the actor proposed to his Scottish girlfriend last week. The couple has reportedly already been telling their friends and family that they will soon tie the knot.

An insider added that Harington felt that marriage is the natural step for them after they moved in together in his mansion in East Anglia in January.

Harington previously opened up about his girlfriend moving in with him during a guest appearance on "The Late Late Show." In June he told James Corden, "I've moved in with my other best friend Rose, so I'm very happy. It's going well, so she's got all sorts of ideas for the house."

Since Leslie is joining Harington in his mansion, he made sure that his lady love is comfortable and at ease in his home, which he already considers as theirs. "I said to her, cause she's moved into my house, 'Look darling, it's important that this is our space. That it feels like our space. That you haven't just moved into mine. Move anything you want around, change anything, chuck anything out,'" Harington added.

Harington and Leslie met on the set of the HBO's hit fantasy series, "Game of Thrones." Leslie appeared on the show as Ygritte, while Harington plays the role of the fan favorite character, Jon Snow. Leslie's character died in Season 4, but for Harington, his character and Leslie's are meant for each other. "Ygritte is the only woman for Jon. Always," Harington told Us Weekly. "There will be no one else."

In 2014, Leslie talked about her relationship with Harington. "Kit is a lovely and funny man, and a dear friend," she told People. "We had known each other before we started working together on 'Game of Thrones.' It was always such a privilege to be working opposite him and such a blessing that we get on in real life because it made our characters more believable."

The pair stirred up romance rumors in 2012, but they never admitted it. The couple reportedly split after a year, but they officially confirmed their relationship in April 2016.
