It will be a day of revelations for the residents of Port Charles as they begin to learn their plans may not go as smoothly as expected. On the Thursday, July 26 episode of “General Hospital,” Michael and Chase will fight to push their plan forward, as Nelle reminds Ava where they stand.

In the promo for the ABC soap opera, Jordan (Vinessa Antoine) asks Chase (Josh Swickard) if he thinks Michael (Chad Duell) can coax a confession out of Nelle (Chloe Lanier). The police commissioner hasn’t been thrilled about Michael risking his life to bring down Nelle, and it appears she is starting to doubt her detective’s strategy.

Elsewhere in the “General Hospital” promo video, Michael expresses how eager he is to put his plan into motion, but the operation may become more dangerous as he moves forward.

In the previous episode, Chase let Michael and Sonny (Maurice Benard) hear the recording of Nelle asking him to kill her husband.

Even though Sonny wanted to take the evidence to the police, Chase and Michael didn’t feel it was enough to make the charges stick. This means Michael will have to continue to put his life in danger if they want to bring Nelle down.

“GH” spoilers reveal Ava (Maura West) congratulates Michael. Seeing as Ava has no reason to wish anything positive on the Corinthos family, there is a chance she could be sarcastically congratulating Michael and Nelle’s matrimony.

However, there’s also a possibility that she could be praising him for scaring Nelle into desperation.

In the ABC promo, Nelle tells Ava that like it or not, they’re in it together. After months of being blackmailed, Ava has begun to grow tired of being intimidated by Nelle.

The pregnant young woman has been forcing the former mob boss to be her minion ever since she found out Griffin (Matt Cohen) tested Peter’s (Wes Ramsey) DNA without permission and discovered he was actually Henrik Faison.

Although Ava has possession of the baby blanket that could prove Nelle was lying about Carly (Laura Wright) pushing her down the stairs, she has allowed Nelle to use Griffin against her.

Will Ava finally turn against Nelle or is there another reason why she decides to congratulate Michael?

“General Hospital” airs weekdays at 3 p.m. EDT on ABC.
