It will be a day of apprehension as the residents of Port Charles realize there is no room for doubt in their inescapable circumstances. On the Wednesday, July 25 episode of “General Hospital,” Michael learns he is marked for death as Sam reaches out to Jason.

In the previous episode of the ABC soap opera, Nelle cried (Chloe Lanier) to Chase (Josh Swickard) and admitted he was right about Michael (Chad Duell) all along. She told the detective that Michael didn’t love her and only married her to get parental rights to their baby. Nelle revealed she was afraid she would be declared unfit because Michael could give the baby everything, and she would be left with nothing.

Even though Chase offered to go to the PCPD for help, Nelle insisted they had to come up with a different solution. In the “General Hospital” promo, Nelle tearfully tells Chase the only way she can keep her baby and remain safe is if there was some type of accident that took Michael out of the picture permanently.

Elsewhere in the “GH” promo video, Michael receives a text from Chase revealing the trap has been set. In the previous episode of the ABC daytime series, Michael and Chase did their best to assure Jason (Steve Burton) their plan to set Nelle up for murder would work out fine, but Chase noted that there is always a chance a sting operation could go wrong.

Nonetheless, Michael remained confident things would work out in his favor. However, he did confess to Jason that he was worried his unborn child’s mother would be in prison. Michael then realized Nelle may have never been a good person and most likely played him for a fool the entire time they were together.

Will Chase be able to keep Michael safe from Nelle’s deadly plans or did the men underestimate the scheming young woman they both once cared for?

Once alone at the gym, Jason will try to hash out his frustrations but will receive a much-needed visit from Sam (Kelly Monaco) and Danny (T.K. Weaver). In the promo, Sam and Danny meet up with Jason where he gives his son a boxing lesson.

“GH” spoilers reveal Sam asks about Carly (Laura Wright). Jason has been worried sick about Carly ever since she broke out of Ferncliff to stop Michael’s wedding. He knew once she was taken back to the institution for the criminally insane the nursing staff would punish her for escaping.

Will Sam be able to put Jason’s mind at ease or could this family hangout help Jason figure out his next move?

“General Hospital” airs weekdays at 3 p.m. EDT on ABC.
