‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Will Peter Die Before Maxie And Finn Rescue Him?
It will be a day filled with concern for the residents of Port Charles as they realize they must face the consequences of their actions. On the Monday, July 23 episode of “General Hospital,” Maxie battles with the idea of Peter’s death while Nina looks to Alexis for help.
In the promo video for the ABC soap opera, Maxie (Kirsten Storms) is worried Finn (Michael Easton) is taking too long to rescue Peter (Wes Ramsey). Last viewers, saw of Peter, he was unconscious in the stables on Spoon Island, and Finn ran inside to get him.
Maxie figured out that Liesl (Kathleen Gati) and Nina (Michelle Stafford) were up to something when her in-laws told her about a West Nile virus outbreak on Spoon Island. However, after checking with a hospital employee, she learned it has been years since the virus has been spotted in the area.
While Maxie isn’t happy Peter lied to her about being the real Henrik Faison, she doesn’t want him to get hurt because he was the friend she needed when Nathan died (Ryan Paevey). “General Hospital” spoilers reveal Finn has reason to worry.
Finn went into the stables to save Peter, but the flames were so intense Finn may not be able to get to him. Is he worried he may have to tell Anna (Finola Hughes) that her son is dead or is there something else that has caused him to feel uneasy?
Whether or not Peter makes it out alive, he will still have a lasting effect on those he came into contact with during his time in PC. In the previous episode, Nina and Liesl managed to make it out of the stables alive. As Liesl fled to the docks to try to escape, Nina was rescued by Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) and revealed Peter was still inside.
Lisel was met by police and arrested, but appeared proud to have avenged Nathan’s death. Meanwhile, it appears Nina may avoid authorities long enough to seek some legal help. “GH” spoilers reveal Nina heeds Alexis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) advice.
Although Peter previously told Nina he wouldn’t mention her name to authorities if she helped him escape, it isn’t guaranteed that she will be able to save herself from being arrested.
Should Peter die in the fire, Liesl could easily reveal that her niece helped her keep Peter hostage. If Peter lives, he could still name Nina as one of his kidnappers even though she eventually attempted to free him.
When Nina seeks advice from Alexis, it appears the attorney’s words will have a dramatic impact on the magazine editor. Will Alexis’ legal counseling cause Nina to take drastic measures to protect herself from being held responsible for Peter’s kidnapping?
“General Hospital” airs weekdays at 3 p.m. EDT on ABC.
