It will be a day of doubts and heartbreak as the residents of Port Charles realize they may not have a future with their loved ones. On the Tuesday, Oct. 2 episode of “General Hospital,” Jason will hope for the best as Oscar embraces his fate.

In the promo video for the ABC soap opera, Carly (Laura Wright) tells Jason (Steve Burton) that Sonny (Maurice Benard) is in the clear. However, Jason corrects Carly and lets her know her husband is still at risk of going to jail.

In the previous episode, Mike (Max Gail) told Jason and Carly that he threw the gun used in the murder into the river where no one will find it, but Jason didn’t seem too convinced. “General Hospital” spoilers reveal Jason reassures Sonny.

Despite his doubts, Jason remains positive about Sonny’s future and give his best friend hope that he may not spend his life behind bars. However, the two men may need to keep their eyes on Carly. When she is desperate to save a loved one, her attempts to help usually result in her only making the matter worse.

Will Carly’s desire to keep Sonny by her side create an even bigger issue for him and Jason?

Elsewhere in the ABC promo video, Oscar (Garrett Stitt) tells Drew (Billy Miller) and Kim (Tamara Braun) that the outcome is still the same and he is going to die.

It appears Drew and Kim share the news about the new experimental treatments that could extend Oscar’s life a little longer, but either way, the teen realizes his life will end way sooner than he wants it to.

Oscar is still upset with his parents for not telling him about his cancer diagnosis and it looks like he has no interest in speaking to either of them for too long. “GH” spoilers reveal Oscar keeps Drew at arm’s length.

Although Oscar feels betrayed by his parents, he is more furious with Kim for keeping his diagnosis a secret for two years. Drew only recently learned about Oscar’s brain tumor and planned to tell him the truth after his birthday.

However, it appears the adolescent isn’t up for having a heart to heart with his father at the moment. Will Drew be able to regain his son’s trust before it’s too late?

“General Hospital” airs weekdays at 3 p.m. EDT on ABC.
