It will be a day of regrets for the residents of Port Charles as they realize they have allowed situations to go too far. On the Monday, July 30 episode of “General Hospital,” Michael and Nelle fight for their lives as Sonny realizes his life may never be the same.

In the promo for the ABC soap opera, Jordan (Vinessa Antoine) tells Chase (Josh Swickard) he isn’t going anywhere until he tells her what’s going on. In the previous episode, Nelle (Chloe Lanier) began arguing with Michael (Chad Duell) when she realized he wanted to go to pick up items she would need while in labor before dropping her off at the hospital.

Nelle finally told Michael that if he kept driving they would both die since Chase told her the brakes would fail after Michael had driven 15 miles. Scared for her life, Nelle admitted to killing her previous fiancé but refused to confess to driving Carly (Laura Wright) insane and framing her for attempted murder.

Furious that she wouldn’t tell the truth about Carly, Michael argued with Nelle and took his eyes off the road. The brief moment caused him to crash the car and resulted in Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Chase losing their visual while tracking the vehicle.

“General Hospital” spoilers reveal Jordan assesses the situation. Jordan previously expressed her hesitation to allow a civilian to risk his life for a sting operation, but Michael insisted he was the man for the job.

Now that both Michael and Nelle could end up dead due to an investigation Chase convinced Jordan was a good idea, will she realize Chase’s obsession of getting revenge against Nelle has gone too far?

Elsewhere in the ABC promo video, Sonny tells Chase to give him the last position of Michael’s car. “GH” spoilers reveal Sonny feels helpless. Sonny was completely against Michael risking his life to take down Nelle but did his best to trust his son to carry out his plan responsibly.

Now that Michael’s life is in jeopardy, Sonny’s worst fears have come true. Sonny previously admitted he was worried Carly wouldn’t be able to handle losing another child if Michael got hurt, and would blame Sonny for his death.

Although Sonny feels like there is nothing he can do, will he be able to find a way to rescue his son and save his wife from another heartbreak?

“General Hospital” airs weekdays at 3 p.m. EDT on ABC.
