Although Ryan has convinced Port Charles he is his twin brother Kevin, on the Wednesday, Jan. 16 episode of “General Hospital,” he will realize hiding his secrets may be more difficult than he expected.

In the promo video for the ABC soap opera, Laura (Genie Francis) tells “Kevin” (Jon Lindstrom) her new role compels her to decline his request. “General Hospital” spoilers reveal Laura makes an announcement.

When Laura won the race for mayor she promised the citizens that she would work closely with the police to catch the killer. Prior to that, she vowed to be a mental health advocate and continue to make visits to Ferncliff.

Seeing as Ryan is the serial killer and has the real Dr. Kevin Collins locked up at Ferncliff, Laura’s promises as mayor puts his freedom in danger. If Ryan were to ask Laura to not follow through on the promises she made, chances are she will refuse.

Ryan is determined to remain a free man and plans to skip town with Ava (Maura West) before he becomes a murder suspect. However, if Laura makes another announcement that threatens Ryan’s plans, will she become the next victim on his hit list?

“General Hospital” airs weekdays at 3 p.m. EST on ABC.
