Oscar had high hopes he would live a long and happy life, but on the Tuesday, Jan. 15 episode of “General Hospital,” he will gain a deeper understanding of his terminal condition.

In the promo video for the ABC soap opera, Oscar (Garren Stitt) asks what it’s going to be like when he’s dying. “GH” spoilers reveal Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) runs into Oscar.

After undergoing the experimental drug trial, Drew (Billy Miller) and Kim (Tamara Braun) learned the size of Oscar’s tumor didn’t change and it remained inoperable. After telling their son he was going to die, the family is attempting to embrace whatever time they have left together.

However, before that can happen, Oscar is curious to know what it will feel like as he gets closer to death. Although it appears he will seek answers from his doctor, he will also encounter Alexis, who is a cancer survivor. Will she tell him what he can expect when things take a turn for the worse?

Elsewhere, Oscar’s terminal diagnosis will begin to take a toll on his father. “GH” spoilers reveal Monica (Leslie Charleson) worries about Drew.

After learning there is no way to help Oscar, Drew was absolutely devastated, but will his grief take a toll for the worse after he learns how his son may spend his final days?

“General Hospital” airs weekdays at 3 p.m. EST on ABC.
