It will be a day of denial and lies for the residents of Port Charles as their pasts come back to haunt them. On the Friday, August 10 episode of “General Hospital,” Carly will have to be honest with herself after the damage Nelle has caused, while newly discovered information threatens Kiki’s trial.

In the promo for the ABC soap opera, Kevin (Jon Robert Lindstrom) tells Carly (Laura Wright) to return to therapy. “General Hospital” spoilers reveal Kevin apologizes. Carly and Kevin’s relationship hasn’t been on the best terms ever since he got Jason (Steve Burton) fired from Ferncliff.

While Carly was a patient, Jason posed as a janitor so he could help her survive in the institution for the criminally insane after Nelle (Chloe Lanier) accused her of attempted murder.

Although Carly is certain she simply spiraled out of control due to Nelle’s manipulation, has she completed moved on from all the damage the young woman has caused? Carly is known for being stubborn, but will she actually take Kevin up on his offer and attempt to work through any underlying issues?

Elsewhere in the ABC promo video, Ava (Maura West) asks Kiki (Hayley Erin) if there is anything she would like to tell her. In the previous episode, Franco (Roger Howarth) meant to text Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) in order to warn her that Kiki and Griffin (Matt Cohen) slept together, but mistakenly sent it to Ava.

Meanwhile, Sonny will be busy dealing with Mike (Max Gail), who believes his son is trying to get rid of him. Stella (Vernee Watson-Johnson) has been advising Sonny to put Mike in a special home as his Alzheimer’s disease worsens, but Carly told him they should include Mike in their decision.

However, it appears Mike will take Sonny’s suggestion the wrong way and believe his son no longer wants to be bothered with him. Will Sonny be able to reassure his father that moving into a medical care facility is the best option?

“General Hospital” airs weekdays at 3 p.m. EDT on ABC.
