George Clooney and Amal Clooney flew to Canary Islands together with their twins.

George and Amal’s marriage has been rumored to be on the rocks. There are even speculations claiming that the two are embroiled in a custody battle over their twins. However, they just debunked the rumors in their recent sighting, La Vanguardia first reported (via Hola!).

George and Amal were spotted arriving in the municipality of Tazacorte, a town in La Palma, Spain in the Canary Islands on Sunday. The couple was also seen relaxing and enjoying the place with their kids while they were there.

The publication noted that Amal and the twins were rarely seen outside the hotel. However, the “Money Monster” star was out and about as he filmed his movie “The Midnight Sky.” It wasn’t surprising that George’s wife and kids stayed behind as the family has always been private.

Prior to their sighting, there were various speculations about George and Amal having marital issues. Radar Online previously reported that George hasn’t been seen with his family for 200 days and he was allegedly working on a bitter divorce case against the humanitarian lawyer.

“George and Amal have been arguing over their varying lifestyles — and rumors of a rift have been going around for months,” a source told the publication. “She’s all business, he’s all play. They’re like oil and water. They don’t mix — and there’s talk of a possible custody fight over the twins.”

There were also claims that George was cheating on Amal with his friend Julia Roberts. George and Roberts have worked on several movies in the past which made them closer throughout the years. Just like the Clooneys, Roberts has twins. But others took their closeness to the next level by adding a romantic twist to their relationship.

But Roberts and George’s rumored romance was not true, according to credible sources. The “Pretty Woman” actress once spoke about George and Amal. According to Roberts, they are a “great couple.”
