Geri Halliwell Hints Emma Bunton’s Wedding Might Be Next

There could be a wedding in the cards for another Spice Girl, close on heels of Geri Halliwell’s nuptials. Geri shared an entertaining photo on Instagram of her close friend Emma Bunton, revealing that the blonde beauty had caught her bouquet and was next to walk down the aisle. The picture shows Emma and her longtime partner Jade Jones in a sweet embrace, holding up the bunch of pink, white and cream peonies and roses.

“We’re next,” the photo of Emma (a.k.a. Baby Spice) and Jade was captioned. Emma herself reposted the photo on Instagram, writing that her boyfriend had caught the bouquet. The 39-year-old singer had admitted earlier this month to Essentials magazine that she and Jones kept forgetting that they had to plan a wedding. The couple got engaged in January 2011, four months before Emma gave birth to their second son, Tate. She gave birth to her first son with the chef in 2007. The couple have been in a relationship for 17 years.

Bunton said she and Jones both always kept saying they should do it one day, but were indecisive. “We’re both Aquarians and terrible at organising things, so I was gobsmacked he’d even managed to organise [the proposal], never mind either of us planning an actual wedding,” said the former Spice Girl. Mirror UK contacted Emma’s reps to confirm the news.

Emma was the only Spice Girl who was able to attend Geri’s wedding. The bride and her groom, Formula 1 boss Christian Horner, married at St. Mary’s Church in Woburn, Bedfordshire, surrounded by their celebrity friends. Emma’s two sons acted as pageboys. Geri’s 9-year-old daughter Bluebell did the honors of walking her mum down the aisle in place of the singer’s late father. The couple jetted off to Cannes for a romantic getaway after their marriage. She shared a picture on her Instagram on Monday in which she flaunted her impressive bikini body in a colorful leopard-print bikini by the pool while flashing the camera a peace sign.
