‘Girls’ Season 6 Spoilers: Why Will Adam Break Up With Jessa In Episode 8?
“Girls” Season 6, episode 8 will see Adam (Adam Driver) breaking up with Jessa (Jemima Kirke).
In Season 6, episode 8, titled “What Will We Do This Time About Adam?,” Adam tells Jessa that he needs to explore his feelings for his ex-girlfriend, Hannah (Lena Dunham). Despite the hurt that she is feeling, Jessa agrees with Adam’s decision to break up with her. Jessa knows that Hanna and Adam go a long way back, and she is not one to stop him from pursuing the girl of his dreams.
The promo for “Girls” Season 6, episode 8 sees a devastated Jessa agreeing with Adam. The latter explains that pursuing Hannah is something that he needs to do at the moment. He adds that he’s unsure what Hannah’s reaction will be, especially since the latter made him feel that she’s already completely over him.

What Adam does not know is that when Hannah watched the 47-minute video he created about his relationship with her, Hannah realized that she still has feelings for Adam. In the clip, Adam follows Hannah to the grocery store and confesses to her. Hannah looks shocked speechless because of his confession.
Meanwhile, Hannah is three months pregnant with Paul-Louis’ (Riz Ahmed) child. In the previous episode, Hannah told her surfing teacher that she’s carrying their baby. Unfortunately, Paul-Louis doesn’t want to have anything to do with his child. Adam returning to Hannah’s life could mean she will be able to raise her baby with Adam as his or her father figure. After all, Hannah’s best friend, Elijah (Andrew Rannells), can no longer assume this role because he will be busy with his acting career.
“Girls” Season 6, episode 8 will air on HBO on April 3 at 10 p.m. EST.
