Gleb Savchenko, Girlfriend Cassie Scerbo 'Taking A Break' But Not Splitting: Report

Gleb Savchenko and Cassie Scerbo are slowing down with their romance by spending time apart while he bonds with his kids and tries to work things out to be more amicable with his estranged wife Elena Samodanova.

Savchenko, 37, and Scerbo, 30, were romantically linked in December following his split from Samodanova. The two are still together and remain in touch but "aren’t seeing each other right now," according to a source.

"They are taking a break. They haven’t exactly split but are just spending time apart," the source told Us Weekly.

"Cassie has been back and forth to Florida visiting family and Gleb has been spending time with his kids in Los Angeles. He’s also trying to make things more cordial with his soon-to-be ex-wife. His family is his focus right now and he’s handling things privately."

Savchenko and Scerbo went public with their relationship during a beach getaway with his Season 29 dancing partner, Chrishell Stause, and the latter’s new man, Keo Motsepe. When Savchenko and Samodanova announced their split, there were allegations that he had an affair with Stause, but the actress quickly denied it.

"I am so saddened about the news of Gleb and Elena’s split," the "Selling Sunset" star wrote in her Instagram Story in November. "It is unfortunate that this has caused rumors to swirl about my personal life. Having gone through a public split myself, I would not wish this on anyone.”

Samodanova was allegedly not happy with Savchenko’s public outing with his new girlfriend and she made it known to the public. So, her estranged husband is slowing down with Scerbo.

"Elena has made her feelings clear on social media and was really upset over Gleb going on vacation to Mexico with Cassie. She went crazy over this and couldn’t believe he went so public with a new relationship so quickly," the tipster added. "It was sort of a slap in the face.”

Meanwhile, Scerbo, who serves as the vice president of her global Boo2Bullying campaign, had received a lot of hate for her relationship with Savchenko. She dealt with them by deleting negative comments and only following accounts that are uplifting.

"It's horrible, but you have the power to either let that affect you positively or negatively," she said. "My thoughts are as simple as this: Hurt people hurt people."
