‘Glee’ Star Dianna Agron And Mumford & Sons Banjoist Winston Marshall Tie The Knot In Morocco
“Glee” alum Dianna Agron and Mumford & Sons member Winston Marshall have tied the knot.
The 30-year-old actress and 27-year-old banjoist got married on Saturday in Morocco. The two had been engaged since the holidays of 2015 but had been mum about wedding plans. They dated for a year prior to the engagement.
“He is the nicest guy and treats her like a princess,” a source told Us Weekly about the couple at the time of the announcement of their engagement. “He is so thoughtful and flies her family everywhere they go and to see them whenever she wants. He is also so good to her friends.”
The actress wore her engagement ring during the Erdem autumn/winter 2016 presentation at the London Fashion Week in February, according to E! News. The ring has a yellow gold band with a rose cut diamond and believed to be 4 to 6 carats.
Agron and Marshall first made their relationship public in July 2015, when they were seen holding hands and wearing matching sunglasses, according to the Us Weekly report.
One month after they were first spotted as a couple, they were seen together at the afterparty for the film “She’s Funny That Way” at Sunset Tower in West Hollywood.
“Dianna was smiling and laughing a lot, and seemed really happy,” a source who saw the couple told the publication.
Agron dated Australian actor Thomas Cocquerel before she got into a relationship with Marshall. The British musician, meanwhile, had previously been rumored to have hooked up with Katy Perry.
The couple will be busy with their respective careers in the coming months, according to Billboard. Marshall’s band Mumford & Sons will be releasing their live film “Live From South Africa: Dust And Thunder” on Nov. 8, while Agron, who portrayed Quinn Fabray in “Glee,” stars in the film “The Crash,” which is scheduled to premiere this year.
