Grammy-Winning Producer Detail Charged With Sexually Assaulting Six Women

Noel Christopher Fisher, the Grammy award-winning music producer, has been charged with sexually assaulting six women. The Los Angeles County District Attorney confirmed the news of his arrest on July 6.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the producer, who is also known as Detail, has been taken into custody after he was charged with various counts of sexual assault and felony assault charges. As per the LA Count District Attorney’s office, Fisher has been charged with 11 counts of forcible rape, and three counts of assault by means of force.

Other charges that have been pressed against Detail are two counts each of forcible oral copulation, sodomy by use of force, and false imprisonment by violence.

The District Attorney’s office also gave details on when the incidents occurred. The producer, who has worked with artists like Beyonce and Wiz Khalifa, allegedly sexually abused a woman in October 2010 and forcibly raped another woman in 2015. The authorities also revealed that he sexually assaulted a different woman multiple times between 2015 and 2017.

Fisher also committed another heinous act with a woman in 2017 and raped another one in the same year. Lastly, he sexually assaulted an unidentified woman twice in 2018.

His bail was set at $6.29 million.

Fisher’s lawyer came out with a statement saying that he did not get a chance to discuss the matter, but he believes that his client will enter a “not guilty” plea.

“I am quite certain [Fisher] will enter a not guilty plea and contest to the fullest all of these allegations,” Fisher’s lawyer told the Associated Press.

If all the charges were proven to be true, Fisher will be going to jail for 225 years.

Various female celebrities like Jessie Reyez, Bebe Rexha, and Tinashe have come forward and revealed how uncomfortable they felt while working with him.

“One night, over 6 years ago Noel ‘Detail’ Fisher tried this on me. I was lucky and I got out before it got to this. I didn’t know what to say or who to tell. I was scared. Fear is a real thing. The girls that came out are brave as hell,” Reyez shared on social media.
