‘Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3’ Will Not Include This Famous Actor
Arnold Schwarzenegger and Chris Pratt are family now, but they’re not traversing the galaxy together. Director James Gunn officially shot down rumors that the “Terminator” star will appear in “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.”
On Monday night, Gunn called out We Got This Covered for their story claiming that Schwarzenegger would appear alongside Sylvester Stallone’s mercenary team. The director said that the site needed “new sources” because their supposed insider “keeps giving you completely false stories.”
Pratt married Arnold’s daughter, Katherine Schwarzenegger, last year, and they are reportedly expecting their first child together. Pratt is already father to Jack, 7, who he shares with ex-wife Anna Faris.
In October, the former California governor had nothing but nice things to say about his new son-in-law. “First of all, I'm really happy that he is such a great guy," the Austrian actor told USA Today. "Not only a very talented guy and a great actor and a great star and all this stuff, but a really kind man and kind to my daughter, which is the most important thing for me."
The actors were spotted riding bikes in California amid social distancing protocols. Both had face coverings as they rode alongside Katherine, her mother Maria Shriver and others, People reports.

Casting rumors aren’t the only reports Gunn has been debunking. He also shot down a hopeful fan theory that imagined Mantis might be able to restore Gamora’s memories. After “Avengers: Endgame” left 2014 Gamora in the present, she can’t remember any of her time with the Guardians. There won’t be an easy fix for rebuilding those relationships.
Like all Hollywood productions, the schedule for “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3” is up in the air. Marvel Studios hasn’t even announced a release date for the film. With dates filled through 2022, it seems like fans will be waiting until at least 2023 for the trilogy to conclude.
