Gwen Stefani Wishes ‘Super Babe’ Boyfriend Blake Shelton A Happy Birthday With Sweet Twitter Message

Blake Shelton got a rather sweet birthday message from girlfriend Gwen Stefani Saturday. The country singer and “Voice” judge turned 40, and Stefani celebrated the milestone by sharing a throwback photo of Shelton from when he was a little kid.

“Happy birthday to my favorite person I ever met @blakeshelton,” she captioned the photo. “#Superbabe.” Shelton then re-tweeted the post, writing: “Now THIS is how you start your 40’s!!!! Thank you @gwenstefani for everything.”

The couple, who first went public with their romance in November, haven’t revealed how they plan to celebrate Shelton’s big day but the “Make Me Like You” singer was seen Thursday buying party supplies. According to People magazine, she was seen walking around Ahhs in West Hollywood with a cart full of party items.

Last week, Stefani opened up about her and Shelton’s romance telling Us Weekly that it feels like a fairytale. “I actually feel like I’m not in my life, because I’m not. I’m in a different life all of a sudden,” she said. “I’m so blessed and I feel like I believe in my path. Now there’s all these miracles around me!”

She added: “There was so much of an earthquake in my life. How did I survive that? I don’t know, but here we are and my life is full of so many blessings. I’m trying to really just be positive and grateful and look at it all like this was all supposed to happen.”

It appears Shelton feels the same way. Last month he told People magazine that Stefani came into his life at the perfect moment. The “Sangria” singer had just split from Miranda Lambert. Stefani had just ended her marriage to Gavin Rossdale. “This time last year, there was no light at the end of the tunnel for me, personally,” he confessed. “There was a point there were I thought I didn’t even want to exist anymore.”
