Harry Styles’ ‘Ever Since New York’ About Relationship With Ex Taylor Swift?

One Direction Harry Styles and Taylor Swift made headlines a few years back after they were revealed to be dating. Dubbed as “Haylor,” their relationship even reportedly became the subject of Swift’s hit song “Style.” Now, it seems Styles may have penned an answer to his ex-girlfriend’s track with a tribute song of his own.

On Thursday, April 13, Styles revealed the track list for his first solo album in an Instagram post, which came with a photo of him submerged in water. His upcoming offering will have 10 songs in total. Noticeably, the eighth track ia titled “Ever Since New York,” which Directioners speculated could be about his previous romance with the “Blank Space” songstress.

Shortly after he revealed his track list, the hashtag #Haylor trended on Twitter once again. A number of fans expressed their desire to see Swift and Styles get back together again on the social media site.

Styles and Swift’s romance reportedly started at the 2012 Kids’ Choice Awards where the two singers met backstage, according to MTV. In April 2012, Justin Bieber teased that one of the biggest artists in the world “thinks Harry is so hot,” and many believed he was pertaining to Swift.

In October 2012, Styles described Swift as a great and talented girl. The One Direction member went on to say that the “Shake it Off” singer is a nice and amazing person. A month later, Styles admitted that he liked a girl that was not his usual type. He didn’t drop any names, but speculations back then claimed that it could he none other than Swift. Relationship rumors were fueled when in the same month, the “Bad Blood” singer was spotted in London wearing a silver airplane chain that was identical to Styles’ bling. Love seemed to have finally bloomed between them in December 2012 when the pair was photographed taking a walk in New York’s Central Park together.

Us Weekly added that Styles and Swift called it quits in January 2013 shortly after they went on vacation together. Following their split, Swift released her song “Out of the Woods,” which was reportedly also about Styles. The song mentioned a “plane necklace,” which the 1D singer usually wears.
