Hilary Duff is pregnant with her first child.

"I can't believe it has already been a year, time really flies when you're having fun!" Duff announced on her website. "We also want to share the exciting news that...BABY MAKES THREE!"

Duff, 23, and husband Mike Comrie, 30, celebrated another first over the weekend with their wedding anniversary (they were married Aug. 14, 2010).

The singer and actress added, "We are extremely happy and ready to start this new chapter of our lives."

The couple commented days before their announcement that they felt it was important to spend the year together and to enjoy the freedom before having a child.

Duff is mostly known as the lead in Disney's "Lizzie McGuire," and husband Comrie, 30, is a Canadian hockey player for the Pittsburgh Penguins.
