Greenwood is known for her roles in "Girlfriendship" and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries' "Every Time A Bell Rings," while Darnell has starred in "Advice to Love By," "A Winter Getaway" and "A Christmas Miracle."
Robinson Peete, of course, is very well-known to Hallmark viewers. She also has starred in Hallmark Movies & Mysteries' "Morning Show Mysteries," "A Family Christmas Gift," "The Christmas Doctor" and "Our Christmas Journey." As for Cooke, fans might recognize her if they have watched Lifetime's "Miracle in Motor City."
So what can fans expect from the film? Let's find out.
"With the holidays approaching, Ella (Greenwood) returns home to convince her grandmother Tess (Cooke) and her mother Micah (Robinson Peete) to heal past wounds in the family," a synopsis for the film reads. "Ella believes the best way to bring her family back together is to celebrate Christmas together, something they haven't done since her grandfather passed."
In order to accomplish her goal, Ella will need some help, as well as some additional holiday magic.
"To make the holiday season extra festive, Ella enlists the help of Griffin (Darnell), the newly elected mayor and her ex-boyfriend," the synopsis continues. "After spending Christmas together as a family, the three women decide to celebrate Kwanzaa and embrace its unifying message. In this heartwarming, multi-generational story, all three women celebrate the holiday season in a unique way and heal through reconnection."
