How To Pre-Order Britney Spears' New Album, 'Glory'
It’s been three years since Britney Spears released her last album, “Britney Jean,” and now “Glory” is on the way. The pop star’s new LP is due out on August 26 though Apple Music.
“‘Glory.’ My new album and the beginning of a new era,” tweeted Spears, who encouraged fans to pre-order the album Thursday at midnight.
To do so, you can click here and buy it for $12.99 exclusively on Apple Music. Plus, the deluxe version of the release has 17 songs in all, which you’ll have full access to on August 26.
On top of that, you’ll be able to own the 34-year-old’s new song “Private Show,” a cut where she taps into her risqué side and offers the man in her life a one-on-one dance.
“Put on a private show / Pull the curtains until they close / I put on a private show / We’ll be wildin’ all on the low / Work it, work it, boy watch me work it / Slide down my pole, watch me spin it and twerk it,” she sings.
In an interview with E! News , Britney spoke about the new album and said songs won’t be so pop driven this time around, but they’ll still contain a lot of melody. The veteran singer also said she’s been working on “Glory” for almost two years, and she’s incredibly passionate about it.
“It’s very exciting,” she said in June. “I’ve been working on this project for a year and a half now, almost two years so it really means a lot to me. It’s my baby … It’s a little melodic, a little more not so poppy … It’s kind of chill. Very chill.”
You might have already heard Spears’ new G-Eazy-assisted single “Make Me,” which has already received over 14 million YouTube hits and over 20 million listens, which might be an indication of how many people will be purchasing “Glory.”
In fact, Eazy talked about working with the pop icon and said it couldn’t be any more exciting since he’s been a fan of hers since childhood.
“Of course, I think we all were [fans],” said the 27-year-old in an interview with Rolling Stone. “Watching the ‘VMAs’ when we were kids, she was one of the biggest entertainers in the world and still is.”
