King Albert summons Souma on New Year’s Eve in "How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom" Episode 26 finale. The new episode is titled "Unable to find Ancient People, Unable to find Future Visitor."

The official website has released the synopsis of Episode 26. Souma is summoned by his predecessor King Albert. The king wants Souma to talk to his wife, Elisha.

In the final episode, Albert reveals the ultimate truth and what will Souma do when he learns everything that is known about his predecessor.

In the previous episode, titled "Know Your Enemy and Know Yourself, and Your Union Shall Not Be Endangered," Excel called Liscia, Juna, Roroa and Aisha for a quick lesson on Fiancées' Bridal Course. Excel found out Souma was ready to have kids.

Elsewhere, in Valois, Jeanne met with Maria and reported how Souma had been working for the slave traders and they intended to do the same.

Toward the end of the episode, Carla informed Souma about a message from Albert. Carla told Souma that Albert wanted to meet him alone.
