Huawei P10 Release Date Confirmed For Mobile World Congress
Huawei will showcase the P10 smartphone during Mobile World Congress in late February, the manufacturer confirmed on Twitter Monday. Huawei will host a press event Feb. 26 to unveil its new product.
Taking a hint from the #OO note on Huawei’s Tweet, the P10 is expected to feature a dual-camera setup, according to TalkAndroid. The manufacturer may continue to work with the camera maker Leica, using its technology to bring professional grade images to Huawei’s smartphone environment.
Rumors also suggest a 5.2-inch or 5.5-inch display, a Kirin 960 chip, 6GB of RAM, internal storage options up to 256GB, and a USB Type-C charging port with quick charging ability. The device is expected to run Android 7.0 Nougat.
The Huawei P10 may also come in standard Plus and Lite models. At this time there are no price details and no inclination on whether the smartphone will be available in the U.S.
Other expected Mobile World Congress launches include Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S3 and Galaxy X, HMD’s Nokia P1, the LG G5, Moto G5, BlackBerry DTEK70, Sony Xperia X2, among others.
