  • Holly Madison said in "Secrets of Playboy" that Hugh Hefner had a disposable camera, and he used to take photos of intoxicated women
  • Crystal Hefner seemingly confirmed it on Twitter by saying she found thousands of disposable camera photos and destroyed them
  • Crystal's reaction received mixed responses from the netizens because her support for Madison came at the expense of her late husband

Hugh Hefner's widow, Crystal Hefner, confirmed one of Holly Madison's claims about the late Playboy founder in a new docuseries.

Crystal, 35, took to Twitter and shared her thoughts about one of Madison's allegations against the Hollywood legend. In A&E's new docuseries "Secrets of Playboy," the "Down the Rabbit Hole: Curious Adventures and Cautionary Tales of a Former Playboy Bunny" author claimed that Hefner had a disposable camera that he used to take photos of intoxicated girls.

"I found thousands of those disposable camera photos you are talking about @hollymadison," Crystal tweeted, confirming Madison's statement. "I immediately ripped them up and destroyed every single one of them for you and the countless other women in them. They're gone."

Crystal's tweet received mixed responses from the netizens. Many were happy that she backed up Madison's claim.

"I love when women support other women. It's all we have," one commented.

"Crystal didn't like you, but now I do. Love that you support other women," another added.

It also raised some eyebrows because her support for the former Playmates slamming Hefner comes at the expense of her late husband. Some also didn't believe that she ripped the thousands of photos she claimed to have found.

"Many women became powerful because of @hughhefner to slander him now is so sad. #SecretsofPlayboyAE #HughHefner @Playboy I am a female that supports Hef. I will cherish all my playboys! Those girls knew what they were getting into," another wrote.

"And this had to be said over Twitter?" a different user commented.

"If you said burn or shred it would be more believable. Immediately ripped up thousands?? The hours & hand cramps must have been a bugger!" another netizen opined.

In the past, Crystal did not publicly support Hefner's ex-girlfriends. She also previously said that those women who spoke against her husband only became famous due to their exposure at the Playboy mansion.

"I think everyone's entitled to their opinions. I think for some it was a lot harder than for others," she said on E!'s Daily Pop in September. "For some of them, you know, being there is what got them attention. So, to keep talking about it and talking about it keeps the attention on themselves. A lot of the women speaking out negatively wouldn't be where they were if it wasn't for Hef."

Meanwhile, Hefner's son, Cooper Hefner, defended his dad from the various allegations against him from the former Playmates.

"Some may not approve of the life my Dad chose, but my father was not a liar," Cooper tweeted. "However unconventional, he was sincere in his approach and lived honestly. He was generous in nature and cared deeply for people. These salacious stories are a case study of regret becoming revenge."
