YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul’s net worth grew by $11 million in 18 months.
Paul has an estimated net worth of $30 million, and the majority of his income comes from ad revenue generated from his YouTube videos, according to Celebrity Net Worth.
Currently, the 24-year-old is one of the top-earning YouTube stars, with an estimated income of $10 to $20 million per year.
Last year, his net worth was estimated to be $19 million. According to an International Business Times report published in June 2020, the YouTube star earned $37,200 per video.
Paul secured the 28th spot among the biggest earners in the YouTube League rankings in 2020, according to Cashlady. At that time, his earnings were more than those of Ninja, PewDiePie, and NikkieTutorials. However, his income was still lower than the income of Jeffree Star, Ryan’s World, and James Charles.
The top three biggest earners were Vlad and Nikita, with $312,000 per video earnings; Dude Perfect, with $301,000 per video earnings; and Like Nastya, who was earning $258,000 per video.
Having started his YouTube career in 2013, Paul reportedly earned an estimated $11.5 million in 2016. He earned $11 million in 2017 and $21.5 million in 2018.
Aside from his YouTube career, Paul is also earning millions in paychecks from his boxing career.
Paul made his professional boxing debut in January 2020. He reportedly earned approximately $1 million from his first match against British YouTuber AnEsonGib at the time.
In April, Paul revealed his fight against Ben Askren sold around 1.5 million pay-per-view and generated $75 million in revenue.
Meanwhile, the YouTuber earned $2 million after winning against former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodly in August, according to MMAJunkie.
The two had a rematch on Dec. 18. However, the YouTube star’s earnings from the match were not disclosed.
In 2017, Paul departed his Beverly Grove rental for a 15,000-square-foot mansion in Calabasas, California, which he purchased for $6.925 million.
He announced his intention to list the home for sale in January for around $7 million. Three months later, he sold the house for $6.15 million.
