Jana Kramer's divorce papers have revealed new details about her split from estranged husband Mike Caussin.
A copy of Kramer's divorce filing obtained by E! News Monday revealed that the country singer, 37, listed "inappropriate marital conduct, irreconcilable differences and adultery" as the reason for their split. The documents also stated that Kramer and Caussin entered a postnuptial agreement.
The "One Tree Hill" alum wants to share custody of their two children, Jolie Rae, 5, and Jace Joseph, 2, per the papers. She also requested that the former football player pay alimony and cover the cost of her legal fees.
Kramer listed April 20 as their date of separation. A day later, she had announced their split on social media.
"I've fought y'all. I've loved hard. I've forgiven. I've put the work in. I've given everything I have and now I have nothing else to give. 'It's time,'" Kramer wrote on Instagram.
"Please know that I still believe whole heartedly in marriage, love, and rebuilding. I just can't fight any longer. It's time to heal. Thank you for all the love, heart, and support, in many ways you have fought on this journey alongside me, and for that I am grateful. I'll always encourage you to continue the good fight, but you can't fight it alone."
Kramer and Caussin's split shocked their friends, who were aware of their efforts to make their marriage work, E! News previously reported, citing unnamed sources. Before Caussin reportedly broke her trust, the duo had been committed to their relationship, the report said.
"Nobody, not Jana or the couples' close circle, could have imagined that Mike would once again break her trust," the insider said.
Another unnamed source told Us Weekly, "[Kramer] didn’t know behind the scenes that he was continuously lying and cheating on her. Jana’s final straw came when she uncovered once again that [Mike] had cheated on her."
Kramer and Caussin previously separated in August 2016, just a year after tying the knot. At the time, the former athlete cheated on Kramer with multiple women and sought treatment for sex addiction, Us Weekly reported.
Caussin filed for divorce from Kramer in September 2016, but the filing was dismissed two days later.
This time around, Kramer reportedly has no plans of getting back together with Caussin.
"This time she’s said it’s over for good," an unnamed source told Us Weekly. "She wouldn’t have filed for divorce if she wasn’t serious about it."
