‘Jane The Virgin’ Season 4: S&M Photos Featuring Jane And Rafael Teased
Things are really heating up between Jane Gloriana Villanueva (Gina Rodriguez) and her baby daddy, Rafael Solano (Justin Baldoni) in “Jane the Virgin” Season 4.
In the new still photos for the next episode, Chapter Seventy-Three, shared by Vulture, the two former lovers were seen dressed up in S&M gear, with Rafael as the “submissive” one while Jane is the one taking charge with the whip.
More likely than not, this is just a fantasy sequence in the show. But whose fantasy it is remains to be seen.
Another focus on the next episode is Rogelio De La Vega’s (Jaime Camil) new role as a stay-at-home dad for Baby. Camil personally thought it was sweet of Rogelio to prioritize his daughter. However, he told Yahoo News that the actor is “nothing” without his work. “Let’s put it this way: It will not be the wisest work and personal decision that Rogelio will make,” he said.
He even teased that Rogelio will become a “danny” - which is a hybrid for daddy/nanny. But Rogelio being Rogelio, this role will only last for a couple of hours.
“Rogelio is a very loving father, and he loves his family and will do everything for them,” he said. “When you become a father for the first time, it can take time to get used to the dynamics of being a dad. Rogelio will struggle not because of lack of love, but because his life dynamic is so different from being a stay-at-home dad.”
While Rogelio is busy with fatherhood, he will be dealing with a new nemesis in the form of River Fields (Brooke Shields). Camil shared that Rogelio will keep tweeting about his fatherhood issues, which provokes a mean comment from River. Because of this, Rogelio will get into a heated argument with her, which becomes viral.
“Rogelio struggles to be a ‘danny,’ and he tweets, ‘I think I’m having postpartum depression.’ And River [Shields’s character] attacks him on social media and calls him stupid, and they argue,” he said.
“Jane the Virgin” Season 4 airs Fridays on The CW at 9 p.m. EST.
