"Teen Mom 2" star Jenelle Evans and her husband David Eason have lost custody of their three children, and in a video posted by TMZ on Thursday, there appeared to be a handgun on the dashboard of the car they went into after appearing in court to fight the case.

The children, Kaiser, Ensley and Jace, have not been returned to them, and when leaving the court, they were asked by reporters, "Why did you kill the dog?"

The question was left unanswered.

Eason was reported to have killed Evans' dog Nugget on April 30. The reality star confirmed the news one day later on Instagram. TMZ reports Eason did so as punishment for nipping at their 2-year-old daughter, Ensley.

MTV announced days later that they had cut ties with Evans after working for her for nearly a decade, saying in a statement this past Tuesday, "MTV ended its relationship with David Eason over a year ago in February 2018 and has not filmed any new episodes of 'Teen Mom 2' with him since."

A spokesperson added, “Additionally, we have stopped filming with Jenelle Eason as of April 6, 2019 and have no plans to cover her story in the upcoming season."
