Jennifer Aniston has set the record straight about her relationship with "Friends" co-star David Schwimmer.

While chatting with Courtney Cox and Lisa Kudrow on SiriusXM's "The Howard Stern Show" Wednesday, Aniston, 52, spoke about her history with Schwimmer and made it clear that while there was a point when they had a mutual understanding, they never went beyond friendship.

"We were in relationships and it was always never the right time and it wouldn’t have worked," she was quoted by Page Six as saying. "The beauty of that was that whatever feelings we had we just literally channeled everything into Ross and Rachel and I think that’s maybe why it resonated the way it did."

When asked by host Howard Stern why she didn't "bang" Schwimmer, Aniston praised the actor and shared that she would have proudly said it if it happened.

"He was lovely, David was great. But no, we never, on my life [got together]. And Courteney and Lisa would know if it did because they would’ve heard about it. They can vouch for me," said Aniston, as Cox chimed in and said, "True."

"Howard’s not going to believe me," the "Morning Show" star continued. "No, I would proudly say I banged Schwimmer if that happened. But no."

Aniston and Schwimmer's secret off-screen crush on each other was first revealed on "Friends: The Reunion," which dropped on HBO Max last month. In the special, James Corden asked the two stars, who played lovebirds Ross Geller and Rachel Green on the series, if they ever had a real-life romance, and they admitted that they had feelings for each other at one point.

"The first season, I had a major crush on Jen," Schwimmer said.

"It was reciprocated," Aniston added.

However, they never became an item. According to Schwimmer, "it was like two ships passing because one of us was always in a relationship, and we never crossed that boundary."

Meanwhile, in the same interview, Aniston also talked about her "fun" reunion with Brad Pitt, noting that there was "no oddness at all" between her and her ex-husband. She added that they are "friends" and that they keep in contact with each other.

When asked about her love life, Aniston, who has not publicly dated anyone since her split from Justin Theroux, said, "There has been nothing of great success thus far, but I'm of course open to it."

However, Aniston said she has no plans to join the exclusive dating app Raya because she doesn't feel that she needs it. "There's nothing anonymous about it and I wouldn't do that," she said. "I don't want to do that and I don't need to do that. I'm all good. I'm doing just fine."
