Jennifer Garner Stays At Ben Affleck's Side Days After His Alleged Alcohol Relapse

Jennifer Garner, 47, and Ben Affleck, 47, shocked the world with a divorce announcement in 2017. The former pair were married for 10 years and had three children – Violet, 13, Seraphina, 10, and Samuel, 7 – before calling it quits for good. The “Daredevil” stars finalized their divorce on Oct. 5, 2018, three years after their separation.

Though Jennifer and Ben are not together as a married couple for quite some time now, the two Hollywood stars remain friends for their kids. In fact, recently, the former lovebirds were spotted together on Halloween. The parents of three were snapped smiling as they dropped off their son, Samuel, at school on Thursday.

During the sighting, Jennifer Garner wore a grey hoodie, a pair of blue Nike shoes and black leggings. Ben Affleck, on the other hand, donned a pair of dark blue jeans, sneakers and a grey pea coat. The two were seen days after the “Gone Girl” actor’s, alleged, relapse with alcohol.

TMZ reported Ben appeared to suffer a relapse from his sobriety at a Halloween party on Saturday, Oct. 26. The outlet claimed Jennifer’s ex-partner was having trouble walking while departing La Peer Hotel in West Hollywood for the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) Masquerade ball. Sightseers claimed that “Good Will Hunting” star nearly fell before catching himself on an SUV.

Ben Affleck was quick to address the incident to the media a day after the incident. “Well, you know, it happens,” Jennifer Garner’s ex-husband stated in a video published by the Daily Mail on Sunday. “It’s a slip, but I’m not going to let it derail me,” he added.

Despite this, a recent article from the People noted Jennifer Garner continues to support him. "Battling any addiction is a lifelong and difficult struggle. Because of that, one is never really in or out of treatment," Ben Affleck wrote on Twitter in 2018. "It is a full-time commitment. I am fighting for myself and my family," the “Argo” star went on.

Earlier this month, Page Six revealed that Ben Affleck is using a celebrity dating app called Raya to find new dates. Now, reports have it that he is dating musician Katie Cherry and they are, allegedly, “very into each other.” Jennifer Garner’s former partner and his supposed new ladylove have yet to confirm these reports.
