Is Jennifer Lawrence Really Dating Chris Martin? Insiders Say Couple Has Been Together Since June

Nicholas Hoult, who? Jennifer Lawrence has yet to discuss her romance with Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, but insiders are already reporting that the film star's rumored new relationship is legitimate. Despite only recently splitting from Hoult, her “X-Men” co-star, last month, sources are now revealing that the Oscar-winning actress has been seeing Martin, also recently single, since June.

“Jennifer is loads of fun and they can’t stop laughing when they are together,” a source told the Sun (via the Daily Mail) of the A-lister's new romance. Insiders report that Martin, 37, who “consciously uncoupled” from his wife, actress Gwyneth Paltrow, 41, in March, is happy with his 24-year-old belle. “Chris feels he is dating someone who has everything he’s been missing out on in the past 11 years,” said a source.

Insiders claims that Lawrence’s laid-back style, including her affinity for pizza, is a nice change of pace for the British performer after over a decade of living with Paltrow, a known vegan and wellness advocate. “Jennifer doesn’t take herself too seriously,” said an insider. The "Hunger Games” film star has also reportedly given the Grammy winner a “new lease on life.” “When she’s not filming, she just wants to hang out and have a good time,” added a source.

While the alleged couple have not been spotted together since July, fans can rest easy knowing that they have reportedly been consciously keeping their romance away from prying eyes. Not only did Martin reportedly “shower” Lawrence with gifts on her birthday last Friday, insiders claim they have been texting one another over “the last six weeks."

Lawrence and Martin first sparked relationship rumors after they were spotted getting cozy at a post-Coldplay concert afterparty at Kensington Roof Gardens in London on July 1. “They were talking the whole time and being really flirty,” an eyewitness said of the duo’s encounter. “There was a whole party of people wanting Chris’ attention but his eyes were only on her,” a source added.

On Aug. 1, E! News announced that Lawrence's split from Hoult, 24, her on-again, off-again boyfriend of three years. The onscreen couple are expected to begin filming the third installment of the “X-Men” series next year.

Martin has two children with Paltrow, Apple, 10, and Moses, 8.
