Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are reportedly determined to make their relationship work this time around.

Lopez and Affleck recently rekindled their romance, 17 years after calling off their engagement. An unnamed insider told Us Weekly that they are "both thrilled" by "how seamlessly" they've fallen back into each other’s lives and are ready to take their relationship to the next level.

"The past few months have been a real whirlwind," the source said of Lopez and Affleck. "They’re well aware some cynics still look at it as a big flashy attention grab and roll their eyes at the speed of it all, but it doesn’t faze them one iota. They’re fully committed to taking the next steps and spending the rest of their lives together."

The "Hustlers" star and the "Gone Girl" actor, who were engaged between 2002 and 2004, reconnected shortly after Lopez and Alex Rodriguez called off their engagement in April. According to the insider, both Lopez and Affleck don't think "they're rushing things" at this point.

"It feels like they’ve been together again for years, not months," the tipster continued. "As far as they’re both concerned, they’re just blessed to have found each other and discovered true love, which most people can only ever dream about."

The source went on to say that Affleck and Lopez have no "doubt in their mind[s] that this is [not] going to work," adding, "Everything that went wrong in the past can only serve them in a positive way this time around."

During a recent interview with Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1, Lopez opened up about how she's doing after ending her engagement with Rodriguez and rekindling her romance with Affleck.

"I'm super happy. I know people are always wondering, 'How are you? What's going on? Are you OK?' This is it. I've never been better," Lopez said, just days after she and Affleck took her 13-year-old twins, Max and Emme, and his 9-year-old son, Samuel, to Hollywood's Universal Studios together.

She continued, "I want my people who care about me, because I care about them so much, to know that I've really gotten to a place in my life where I'm great on my own. And I think once you get to that place, then amazing things happen to you that you never imagine in your life happening again. And so that is where I'm at."

Affleck's ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, is reportedly supportive of his reignited romance with Lopez. An unnamed insider earlier told Entertainment Tonight that the "Yes Day" star, who was married to the actor from 2005 to 2018, "can tell he is happy," adding that Affleck and Lopez's families are "getting along great."
