Jennifer Lopez, Boyfriend Alex Rodriguez Celebrate Birthdays Together With Lavish Miami Party

Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez will both be celebrating new milestones in their lives this week as they turn another year older.

On Saturday, Lopez and Rodriguez celebrated their birthdays in advance in a lavish party in Miami with their friends. The “On the Floor” singer will turn 48 on Monday, while the former New York Yankee player will celebrate his natal day on Thursday, July 27, Us Weekly reported.

For their joint birthday bash, Lopez rocked a black see-through mini dress with patches covering her breasts and paired it with black high heels. Lopez’s get-up highlighted her toned abs. Meanwhile, Rodriguez looked smart in a blue suit.

The couple looked happy as they celebrated their party together. In one photo, Rodriguez and Lopez stood next to a towering six-layered cake decorated with gold and silver embellishment and white roses with the “Ain’t Your Mama” songstress’ name on it. In one video on Instagram, Lopez and Rodriguez sang and danced “Sweet Caroline” together with their friends. In another clip, the lovers cuddled and kissed on the dance floor.

Lopez and Rodriguez started dating in March, and since then, they have been inseparable despite their hectic schedules. They were spotted working out together and enjoying short vacations in different countries just weeks after their romance was confirmed. “If you want to be together, you are together,” Rodriguez told Extra of his relationship with Lopez in June.

People close to the couple are also convinced that they were perfect for each other. “They’re kind of like Jay Z and Beyoncé. If people thought she and Marc were the Latin supercouple, this is on another level,” one source said.

Rodriguez and Lopez share a number of similarities that likely brought them closer to each other. Both are already parents of two kids from their previous marriages. They are also both Latinos and New York natives. In addition to this, they are legends in their respective fields.

“Our kids get along really well, we’re both from New York, we’re both Latin, we’re both in our forties, we’re really enjoying life, but she really is one of the most impressive and smartest human beings I have ever met,” Rodriguez told Extra of his girlfriend.
